The Place is an affordable, simple party place in Elmwood Place, OH, on Reading Rd. With a seating capacity of 170 people, it’s a good size for most wedding receptions as well as family events like birthdays, anniversaries, or graduations. Saturdays and Holidays run $600 for a five hour event, Fridays are $500, and Sundays are just $400.

The hall features a large mirrored dance floor, a DJ booth, a catering kitchen as well as bar area, and a disco ball and party lighting. Tables and chairs are included with your rental. The floors are tiled, and green, white and black are the dominant colors inside.

This hall is geared towards DIY events from birthdays to receptions, and as a nice feature the 5 hours does not include setup and cleaning time. You have access as early as noon the day of your event to begin setup. They allow parties to run as late as 2AM (which is not offered by many venues) though you may be required to clean up that night depending on their schedule

Location and Accessibility

Parking is a bit tight – for some reason the City of Elmwood Place has closed off a parking lot immediately behind the venue at this time. Ample free street parking is on the surrounding streets. The space is handicap accessible. Tours of the property are available every Wednesday at 5 PM. It’s easily accessible off of the Towne St or Paddock Rd exits from I-75.
